1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SnapFix mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SnapFix is an AI-powered repair guide application that allows users to photograph broken items and receive AI-generated step-by-step repair instructions. The App is provided by BernDigital ("we", "us", "our").

3. User Accounts

The App uses anonymous authentication. You do not need to create an account with personal information. A unique anonymous identifier is assigned to your device for the purpose of saving your repair history and managing your subscription.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • SnapFix offers both free and premium (Pro) subscription tiers.
  • Free users receive a limited number of AI analyses per month.
  • Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions.
  • Use the App to generate content that could cause harm to persons or property.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Repair guides provided by SnapFix are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any AI-generated repair instructions.

  • Always use proper safety equipment when attempting repairs.
  • If in doubt, consult a qualified professional.
  • We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from following AI-generated repair instructions.
  • The App should not be used for repairs involving gas lines, high-voltage electrical systems, or structural components without professional supervision.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by BernDigital and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of photos and descriptions you upload, but grant us a limited license to process them for generating repair guides.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BernDigital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bern, Switzerland.
